LJMS SOL Information
Below you will find valuable information about Virginia Standards of Learning (SOL) testing for spring of 2021, especially concerning the effects of the COVID-19 quarantine and the concurrent learning model, including links to an informational video and a student intent form.
What Are SOLs?
Tests that assess what you have learned.
SOL tests will take place in person at school in May.
- All families have the right to refuse SOL testing this Spring
- Refusing SOL testing has NO negative impact on students. It does not affect
- class placement
- grades
In-person testing logistics:
- Students will test in classrooms
- All health and safety guidelines will be followed
- Students will be testing on their school issued laptop
Participation/COVID refusals:
Students should share the SOL video (también en Español) with their parents/guardians and make a decision about test participation
Fill out the Google Form by Sunday, April 18.
