10 Reasons Jackson Stands Out

What makes Luther Jackson special?

At Jackson we ROAR as one!

Vertical Farming

Engineering students have created a vertical farming operation that grows spinach and lettuce that uses fish waste to nourish the plants as the plants filter the fish’s water. She has also partnered with businesses to provide the school and its students with grants, educational programs, and hands-on experiences.

70 Years of History

Jackson MS has been designated a county historical site, and was once Jackson HS, the county’s only high school for students of color. Alumni from Jackson HS still maintain an active presence in our schools, and this year we celebrated the school’s 70th Anniversary with alumni, current students, and our community.
