School Social Worker 

The primary focus or goal of the school social worker is to remove any barriers that prevent a student from fulfilling his or her academic potential. Additional services include: 

  • Sociocultural assessments
  • Issues with poverty, chronic illness, & child abuse/neglect
  • Hygiene items, winter coats, backpacks

School Psychologist

The primary focus or goal of the school psychologist is to support the mental health and learning potential of students in both general and special education. Additional services include: 

  • Psychological testing
  • Functional behavior assessments
  • Behavior intervention plans
