Fall Play Tickets Now On Sale
The LJMS Drama fall play, An Evening of One-Acts, will run Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, Nov. 21-23. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and show time is 7:30 in the Luther Jackson Auditorium. Tickets are $4 when purchased in advance and may be ordered online through Etix beginning Friday, Nov. 1.
Two plays will be presented:
Boat - Sometimes it's easy to see the world as your own personal sinking ship. It's way easier to look into our own whirlpool than look out at what's going on with others. I don't care about them. Why should I? They're not like me. They're wrong.
Bedtime Stories (As Told By Our Dad) (Who Messed Them Up) - It's Dad's turn to tell his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories, but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative: a prince with a snoring problem spices up The Princess and The Pea, The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur instead, and Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
